Tuesday 24 March 2026 1P Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 This week the children learnt about how everyone is unique and special during our RE lessons. In busy time, they used mirrors and watercolour to create their own portraits.

Tuesday 24 March 2026 1H Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 Last week the children in 1H enjoyed all of the science week activities. These included the Coke and Mentos experiment workshop, testing their theories about whether we they could create different shaped bubbles with wands of various shapes; and a very interesting workshop on how electricity is made.

Friday 13 March 2026 1H Weekly Update w/e 06/03/26 The children in 1H enjoyed a book themed scavenger hunt last week. In groups they had to work out the answer to a clue and then search for the book.

Wednesday 11 March 2026 1H Weekly Update w/e 27/02/26 The children in 1H have been creating their own designs using connecting straws. Max and Xander proudly showed off the Arsenal badge they made.

Wednesday 11 March 2026 1P Weekly Update w/e 27/02/26 This week the children used their learning about the rocket that went to the moon to help them design and build their own rocket in busy time.

Tuesday 10 March 2026 French Weekly Update 27/02/26 Y1 pupils have been learning fruit vocabulary. We got to know a song and played a card game, then followed instructions to draw les fruits.

Tuesday 10 March 2026 1H Weekly Update w/e 13/02/26 In 1H, for Art, the children learned techniques for drawing their own dinosaurs. They were then able to add details such as foliage, volcanoes, fossils etc to their pictures.

Tuesday 27 January 2026 1P Weekly Update w/e 23/01/26 This week, 1P explored the role of adjectives to describe something. They created a habitat for the Plesiosaurus dinosaur and labelled it with adjectives.

Friday 16 January 2026 1H Weekly Learning w/e 16/01/26 In 1H we have been learning how to follow musical tracing patterns. This helps to develop the movements needed for correct letter formation, as well as hand eye coordination.
