Tuesday 24 March 2026 French Weekly Update w/e 13/03/26 Y5 pupils consolidated their knowledge of French numbers 1-60 by playing the game Loto – won by Maxwell! Actions and mnemonics (some scenes we envisaged) helped pupils to remember some of the trickier numbers.

Tuesday 27 January 2026 French Weekly Learning w/e 23/01/26 After writing detailed descriptions of themselves, Y5K played a team listening game called Qui est-ce? to work out who was who in the class. As well as concentrating on the specific vocabulary, it helped to narrow things down by listening out for the adjective endings. Grand or grande? Petit or petite?
